Pawzazz Mobile Grooming was opened by Denise Cohen as a convenient alternative to the busy grooming salon environment. She has nearly a lifetime background in pet and animal care. She has always had animals in her life including cats, dogs, exotic parrots and even a retired thoroughbred racehorse, named “Slim”.
As a young adult, Denise was a groom and handler for thoroughbred racehorses at an off-track rehabilitation facility where she assisted with equine hydrotherapy. After that she worked at a high-profile show-horse facility where she cared for, groomed and prepared horses for shows. She was in the horse care business for several years before moving on to a mainstream career as a legal assistant.
In 2006, Denise returned to her animal loving roots and opened a small pet sitting business in Middletown, New York, called Prancing Paws Pet Sitting where she has been in-your-home pet care and daily dog walking services for 11 years. Today, she is still providing in-home care to hundreds of loved pets in the local area and has now she has expanded her services by offering pet grooming to both her clients and to YOU!
